    Washington's Head
    This statue of George Washington's head was constructed in 1998 by Moran Iron Works. The statue is 11-foot (132 in) wide, 12-foot (144 in) high structure and weighs 6000 pounds (2722 kg). The weight comes from the used mild steel and the 2000 pounds (907 kg) of hair strands.

    Burnham's Landing
    Frederick Burnham settled in Michigan in the 1840s. Burnham's Landing is a harbor that provided shelter to ships during foul weather. When Burnham died in 1880, his wife Julia and their son Frederick II managed this family business. In 1908, the Metz Fire destroyed the Burnham home, store and lumber camps.

    Kauffman Homestead
    Kauffman was the Township Supervisor and Postmaster of Presque Isle until his death in 1913. Kauffman also served in the Civil War. In 1851, he migrated to America from Tuttlingen, Germany. He started as a lumberjack and built a house in 1862. This house marks his establishment in the area he lived in.
